Studi su colori, forme e percezioni – Studies on colours, shapes and perceptions

This series represents a group of self-portraits and ladscapes painted during the first five years of this century in Italy, Normandie and Holland.

The technic is as usual a mix of oil and acrylic on canvas. the landscapes are 24×30 cm while the self-portraits are on a  50×70 cm line canvas support.

The self portraits studies concentrate mostly on the interactions of colours and shapes, position of the subject. The background colours changes to study the effects on the subject. The position of the painted model changes to see different angles and interactions. The landscapes suffer the influence of late XIX century french painting.

Some other self portraits and landscapes studies have been lost or given as presents throughout Europe.
